Invitation to the exhibition

Stanko shows new COLORFIELDPAINTING pictures of the last years. The Vernissage on May 10, 2019 started at 19 o’clock and was well recognized by art lovers & friends. As with all exhibition openings, this time a picture meditation took place after a few introductory words on COLORFIELDPAINTING. For Stanko, this kind of picture encounter has been a feature of every opening for many years and opens up a new possibility for the audience to immerse themselves in the silence in aural silence. Now showing new color field paintings at GALERIE SCHWABING in munich. We had a wonderful opening at this at the heart of munich centered gallery with great audience – finest music and nice food.

Some art pieces are a result of my collaboration with my love Sabrina. Like at every opening we had a fine meditation over my color awareness paintings which lasted about 15 minutes where with the help of soft still music the audience could dive into vibrating colorfields. The guests everytime are happy with this part of the event where stillness spreads around…

How to get aware

July may be just the best time for a holiday in LA, california! What? Yes because of summer heat museums are the best places to be. So we went to MOCA (Museum of contemporary art) last night to enjoy art and as surprise the third room was dedicated only to Mark Rothko only. What a beautiful surprise not only because of many closed rooms in this small museum in downtown LA.

For me as a color awareness painter it was sad to see how fast und unaware most of the visitors went by checking their smartphones, taking pictures and running to the next room. More than 50 years ago Rothko´s wish to stand right before his pictures just to get part of it´s colors seems no longer to exist. But at least there where to people diving deep into this beautiful color field paintings…and maybe that´s by far enough – time will tell

Vernissage: Freitag, 20th of May 2016 7pm

Solo Exhibition at  “Frauenkircherl Erding”

Close to Munich where this beautiful small town is located you´ll find this stunning little former church used now for contemporary art exhibitions. A special place for special art! I had many interested visitors, very nice talks and at least two color field paintings went to a new collector.
