Experiment with new patterns

2013 I was experimenting with new patterns to fill up the surface just to test what it would look like… And these are some examples when you use new brushes leaned from fashion places

As you can see the color field appears totally different maybe because of the 3D effect which leads us to another awareness dimension. Structure is much more relevant than the power of color. And I suppose this is why I don´t use patterns in most of my other paintings.

Is this still a color field painting – a color awareness painting? I´m not quite sure but as there´s no defintion just a few explanations about color field painting … I suppose it might be OK, what do you think? Please let me know
